What is Licensed Conveyancer?

Whilst a Solicitor is a general legal practitioner, a Licensed Conveyancer is a specialist who concentrates solely on dealing with the legal process involved in transferring building and/or land from one owner to another and dealing with the financial transactions.  This can often help to speed up the process.

Licensed Conveyancers are recognised by financial institutions such as banks and lenders.

Licensed Conveyancers are required to purchase professional indemnity insurance through the Council of Licensed Conveyancers Master Policy and must comply with all the Rules of the Profession.
